SIMPLICITYINSIGHT LTD, trading as Simplicity Insight, is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. For privacy questions or requests, email simplicityinsightuk@gmail.com.
This notice covers visitors to our website, people who enquire about our services and people who choose to receive our email marketing.
Information collected
When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message, plus any business name, website address or service requirements you provide. We also receive your marketing choice. If you opt in, we record the time of submission and the wording and version of the consent notice with your enquiry email.
Your name, email address and message are needed to handle your enquiry; the other fields and marketing checkbox are optional. Please do not include sensitive personal information that is not needed for your enquiry. Our hosting and email providers also process technical information needed to deliver and protect their services, such as IP addresses and delivery or error records.
How information is used
We use enquiry details to answer questions, discuss requirements and prepare requested proposals. Where you are considering a contract with us, this is to take steps at your request before entering into that contract. For other business enquiries, including enquiries on behalf of a company, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to requests and managing business relationships.
We also have a legitimate interest in keeping our website and communications secure. Where records are needed to meet a legal obligation, we use them for that purpose.
Email marketing and your choice
The enquiry form offers a separate, optional opt-in for email marketing about our services and updates. For new sign-ups through this checkbox, we rely on your consent. Leaving it unticked does not prevent you from sending an enquiry or receiving a response, and does not give us new permission to send you marketing.
You can withdraw consent or object to marketing at any time by replying “unsubscribe” to a marketing email, or by emailing simplicityinsightuk@gmail.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. We keep a minimal record of opt-outs so that we can respect them.
Hosting and service providers
Cloudflare hosts this website and processes contact-form submissions. Resend delivers the enquiry email to our Google Gmail inbox, where we receive and manage correspondence. These providers handle information needed to operate their services. The contact form does not automatically add you to a mailing platform.
Our providers operate internationally, so information may be processed outside the UK. Their published information explains their processing and international transfer arrangements: Cloudflare privacy policy, Resend privacy policy and Google privacy policy. Contact us if you would like further information about the providers used for your enquiry.
Retention
For enquiries that do not become customers, our retention period is 12 months after the last contact. At the end of that period, we delete the enquiry unless a specific legal obligation or dispute requires us to retain relevant records for longer.
If you become a customer, we retain relevant project and transaction records according to the needs of the contract and applicable legal, accounting and dispute requirements. Marketing contact details and consent evidence are kept separately from the need to retain a full enquiry: they are used while your subscription remains active, with only the evidence and opt-out information needed to demonstrate and respect your choices retained afterwards.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access your personal information, correct inaccurate information, erase information, restrict its use or receive a portable copy. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests and can always object to direct marketing. Some rights have legal exceptions.
To make a request or raise a concern, email simplicityinsightuk@gmail.com. We may need to confirm your identity before responding. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator.
Cookies and analytics
The website’s own code does not include advertising or analytics scripts. Some portfolio pages include embedded previews from apexdrivesdesign.co.uk. When a preview loads, your browser connects to that website and shares technical information such as your IP address and browser details. That website’s own privacy and cookie practices apply to the embedded content. Links to social media and other websites also take you to services with their own privacy notices.

This notice may be updated when the website, services or data-processing activities change.
